Support System Foundation
Support System Foundation (SSF-Uganda) is a community-based, non-profit organization committed to improving lives through community health promotion, sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, education, and community development.
Founded on the belief that healthy communities, productive agriculture, and a protected environment are deeply interconnected, SSF-Uganda works to address the root causes of ill-health, poverty, food insecurity, and environmental degradation. We recognise that human behaviour, limited knowledge, and negative attitudes toward sustainability continue to undermine development and threaten the well-being of present and future generations.
Our work focuses on deliberate, people-centred interventions that promote positive behavioural change, strengthen local capacities, and empower communities to take ownership of their development. Through health education, agricultural support, environmental management initiatives, and education-focused programs, we strive to create practical and lasting solutions that improve livelihoods while protecting natural ecosystems.
At Support System Foundation, we believe that lasting change is achieved through collaboration. By working with communities, partners, donors, and stakeholders, we aim to build resilient communities that are informed, self-reliant, and environmentally responsible.
